Pet Behavior Counseling

For a harmonious life together

Behavioral issues, fears, or everyday problems can be a burden for your pet and for you. In my pet behavior counseling, we look together behind the behavior patterns, identify the causes, and develop practical solutions that build trust, calm, and quality of life.

I am Delia Hachmann, a trained veterinary nurse and certified pet behavior counselor (ILS). Every pet is unique, which is why I tailor my consultations to be individual, empathetic, and grounded in everyday life.

My goal: to improve your pet’s wellbeing and support you as a caring guardian along the way.

Let’s get started together. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

When counseling can help

Whether dog or cat, sometimes small or larger behavioral issues cause us concern, and this is exactly where we want to support you and your pet. Together we look at what’s behind it and develop ways to make your everyday life harmonious and relaxed again.

Behavior counseling can be helpful in many situations:

  • Fear
  • Aggression
  • Separation-related distress
  • House-soiling

Process of behavior counseling at our practice

We’re glad you found your way to us. Our goal is to support you and your pet
in the best possible way. Step by step, fully tailored to you.

  • Once you decide on a consultation, we’ll send you a questionnaire. You can fill it out at your own pace at home and send it back to us by email or in person.

  • We’ll arrange an appointment that works for you and your pet.

  • I take plenty of time for the first conversation to really get to know you and your pet. The consultation takes place in person at our practice. Please bring dogs along; cats are welcome to stay home. The initial consultation costs 120 euros, follow-up sessions are arranged flexibly as needed at 60 euros per session.

  • Afterward, you’ll receive a training plan tailored precisely to your situation, so you can keep working with your pet at home.

  • To support your progress in the best possible way, we’ll arrange regular follow-up sessions every 4–6 weeks, for as long as needed. This lets us celebrate successes together, adjust the training plan when necessary, and make your everyday life more relaxed, step by step.
